Mosquito Lagoon Map Mosquito Lagoon is part of the Indian River Lagoon (often referred to as the IRL). The IRL stretches for over 156 miles along the East Coast of Florida from Jupiter (southern end) to Ponce Inlet (just south of New Smyrna Beach) on the north.
